At Whetstones, we believe that all forms of education should work collaboratively to reach the common goal of student success. Whetstones is dedicated to bridging the gap between educational agencies and their individual programming to meet the needs of students academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in a holistic approach to supports and services and believe that if all fundamental needs of a student are met, they will succeed.

Our team is comprised of educational professionals that have multiple years of first hand experience supporting students of various learning needs and diverse economic backgrounds. Throughout our careers, we have seen current gaps in education and we are determined to provide the best research-based supplemental services available to meet all student and family needs.

Whetstones strongly believes that a limitation to servicing for students rests on the lack of funds that many families have available to support continuing needs. Often, supplemental services require private pay from the parent and many students struggle with getting the extra help that they need simply because of the cost of private services. On the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic, we see that students need more help now than ever before. As a non-profit, we have devoted ourselves to providing supplementary tutoring, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, behavior therapy, and counseling for FREE to as many families as possible!
